During the third quarter, I was able to learn more about making webpages using HTML. I already knew some basic tags, but I learned more about using lists, like ordered, unordered, and nested lists. I also learned how to organize information better on a webpage. This helped me understand how webpages are built and how different parts work together. Even though I had some knowledge before, I still faced some problems. Sometimes my code did not work because of small mistakes, like missing tags or wrong placement. Making nested lists was also sometimes confusing. These problems showed me that coding needs patience and careful checking. To fix these problems, I practiced a lot and looked at examples from class. I checked my code carefully and tried different ways to make it work. I also asked for help when I did not understand something. Doing this helped me learn more and improve my coding skills. Today was honestly one of those days I know I’ll remember for a long time. Being in Vigan during the city fiesta felt so special. The streets were full of life, music, and people, and everywhere I looked, something exciting was happening. It didn’t feel like just a normal day, it felt like the whole city was celebrating together. In the picture, you can see dancers performing right in the middle of the road, wearing traditional clothes and waving white handkerchiefs as they moved in sync. Watching them made me feel proud of our culture. The crowd around them was huge, all of them were cheering, smiling, and recording videos. Elpidio Quirino, the 6th president of the Philippines, is someone I truly admire because of his courage and hard work during a very tough time in our country. He became president after World War II, when the Philippines was still trying to recover from destruction and loss. Even with many problems around him, I respect how Quirino did his best to rebuild the nation and bring hope back to the people. I admire him because he focused on helping the economy and improving the lives of ordinary Filipinos. He supported programs that created jobs, helped farmers, and repaired important roads and buildings. He also worked on keeping good relationships with other countries, especially the United States, to gain support for the country’s recovery. The 2025 National Children’s Month Celebration, with the theme “OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”, reminds us that children must be protected from online abuse and exploitation. Today, many kids use the internet, and this makes them more exposed to danger. This theme encourages everyone to work together to keep children safe, both offline and online . I believe the government is doing important work to protect children’s safety, dignity, and rights. Laws like the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children Act (RA 11930) help catch offenders and stop harmful online content. Agencies like the DSWD, PNP, and DICT also help in rescuing victims and teaching families about safe internet use.  San Vicente is my home, and it’s truly a beautiful and meaningful place to me. Our barangay is well-known for its high-quality wooden furniture. Many people here are skilled in crafting chairs, tables, beds, and cabinets. As you walk around, you can see hardworking locals shaping wood with care and creativity. The smell of freshly cut wood and the sound of tools remind everyone that San Vicente is a place of talent and dedication. Each piece of furniture shows the effort and pride of our community. Aside from furniture making, San Vicente also has lovely tourist spots that highlight its natural beauty.  During the Second Quarter in ICT, I learned a lot about HTML and how to use different tags to make a simple webpage. I discovered how each tag works and how they all come together to form something that looks organized and complete. It amazed me how typing just a few lines of code could turn into a real webpage. Through this, I realized that creating websites takes patience and attention to detail, but it’s also fun and creative at the same time. One of the biggest challenges I faced was remembering all the HTML tags and where to put them correctly. Sometimes, I would forget to close a tag or get confused about which tag to use, and that would mess up the whole layout.  When I was in second grade, I often got sick in class. Sometimes I felt dizzy or got a fever while we were studying, and my teacher, Ma’am Candy, always helped me. She would take me to the clinic, give me water, and check on me to make sure I was okay. Even though she was busy with many students, she always took the time to care for me. Her kindness made me feel safe and cared for whenever I wasn’t feeling well. Because Ma’am Candy was so nice to me, I wanted to thank her in my own little way. When I got better, I drew a picture of her and wrote “Thank you, Ma’am Candy!” on it. I gave it to her after class, and she smiled and hugged me.  Climate change is something I’ve seen and felt personally, not just heard about on the news. I’ve witnessed heavy rains flooding streets, destroying homes, and forcing families to evacuate. Sometimes the heat feels unbearable, and other times storms come so strong that it’s scary to even go outside. I realize that these sudden changes in the environment aren’t just natural—they’re also caused by how people treat the Earth. Cutting down trees, polluting rivers, and wasting resources all add up, and in the end, it’s us Filipinos who suffer most. But what amazes me is how resilient Filipinos are. During our school event, my classmates and I came together to support Aleina in her dance sports performance. We cheered loudly as she stepped onto the stage. Seeing her perform so well made us all proud and reminded us how hard she had worked, practicing in between classes and trying to catch up with missed lesson, just to reach that moment. After her performance, we walked around the campus to watch other sports battles. The atmosphere was full of excitement, students were cheering, playing, and enjoying every match. It felt great to see everyone’s energy and school spirit come alive. The whole day was truly unforgettable. Supporting Aleina and experiencing the fun around the campus brought us closer as classmates. It was a celebration not just of talent, but also of us uniting as classmates and building a better friendship and atmospherefor all of us.

       Clean up drives play an important role in helping maintain cleanliness in our society. They're important for keeping our environment safe and thriving. By participating regularly in activities such as clean-up dives, we can help reduce pollution, ecosystems and natural habitats.       Proper waste management, like learning to reduce, reuse, recycle and properly disposing of our trash in the right bin, can help in maintaining our clean environment. If we practice these daily, we aren't just helping in making our community change for the better, we can help make changes in the world, reducing the effects of climate change, global warming, multiple pollutions and many more. Hi ! I'm Mergene Yvez Rabuya but you can call me Mergene,Yvez, or just my nickname "Ivy". If you want , you can call me anything you want, just not Margarin, I've heard it enough. I was born on August 12, 2010 in Poblacion, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur.     A fun fact about me is that my first name, "Mergene" is the 'ship' name of  my mom and my dad. My father's name is Wil-"mer"(Wilmer) and my mom "Gen"-ilyn(Genilyn), they combined their names and added an "e" at the end and that's how they got my name. In the first quarter of grade 10, we dove into the discovery of how the internet started out. It was both fascinating and shocking because I've only realized that the Internet was created not long ago. We were also taught about blogs, what kinds, its different structures and many topics. We were tasked to make our own blogs which challenged both our creativity and writing skills.  The making of the blogs were quite difficult for me since the only type of technology I have for now is a phone and sometimes it's limited. But I try to think of ideas even without my phone and try to use my screen time efficiently.  Dear President Ferdinant Marcos, I would like to thank you for everything you have done so far for our country. This nutrimonth has been the most fun month yet. I had lots of new experiences, one including getting to show off my talent. In this month, some of my classmates and I were picked to join the nutri-jingle contest, in city, regional and national. Though it was very hard, because we had to create our own steps, make our own song and practice them all day, it was fun! We also had to film and record them, the most hassling part of it all was changing in between different filming sessions. When we were recording, I found it quite difficult since we had to all be in harmony when singing even though we had all had a different pitch. It also enjoyable as we made videos together, danced, and did some activities. After all the filming and when we finally uploaded the video, we thought it was all over.
