Thank you for a Wonderful Year

When I was in second grade, I often got sick in class. Sometimes I felt dizzy or got a fever while we were studying, and my teacher, Ma’am Candy, always helped me. She would take me to the clinic, give me water, and check on me to make sure I was okay. Even though she was busy with many students, she always took the time to care for me. Her kindness made me feel safe and cared for whenever I wasn’t feeling well.

Because Ma’am Candy was so nice to me, I wanted to thank her in my own little way. When I got better, I drew a picture of her and wrote “Thank you, Ma’am Candy!” on it. I gave it to her after class, and she smiled and hugged me. I also tried to be more behaved and listen carefully in class to make her happy. It felt good to show her how thankful I was.

Now that I’m older, I still remember how caring Ma’am Candy was. She didn’t just teach lessons, she showed me what kindness means. Because of her, I learned to care for others too, just like she cared for me. I will always be grateful for her gentle heart and how she made me feel special when I was sick and scared.
