A Little Something About Me

Hi! I'm Mergene Yvez Rabuya but you can call me Mergene,Yvez, or just my nickname "Ivy". If you want , you can call me anything you want, just not Margarin, I've heard it enough. I was born on August 12, 2010 in Poblacion, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur.

    A fun fact about me is that my first name, "Mergene" is the 'ship' name of  my mom and my dad. My father's name is Wil-"mer"(Wilmer) and my mom "Gen"-ilyn(Genilyn), they combined their names and added an "e" at the end and that's how they got my name. Though my name sounds or looks complicated, I'm a pretty simple girl with a normal life.

    I'm not a poet, a writer, an artist, a singer, nor am I a teacher. But some of the things that interest me are writing, drawing, singing, teachding and taking care of kids. I like to express my emotions and ideas through my countless poems and paragraphs. I like art and making them. I like listening to people sing and also singing my heart out. Last but not least, I like to spend m time around people younger than me or older. There's something about them that just makes my soul happy, specially when I'm taking care of them.

 San Vicente is my home, and it’s truly a beautiful and meaningful place to me. Our barangay is well-known for its high-quality wooden furniture. Many people here are skilled in crafting chairs, tables, beds, and cabinets. As you walk around, you can see hardworking locals shaping wood with care and creativity. The smell of freshly cut wood and the sound of tools remind everyone that San Vicente is a place of talent and dedication. Each piece of furniture shows the effort and pride of our community. Aside from furniture making, San Vicente also has lovely tourist spots that highlight its natural beauty. Second Quarter of HTML Tags

 During the Second Quarter in ICT, I learned a lot about HTML and how to use different tags to make a simple webpage. I discovered how each tag works and how they all come together to form something that looks organized and complete. It amazed me how typing just a few lines of code could turn into a real webpage. Through this, I realized that creating websites takes patience and attention to detail, but it’s also fun and creative at the same time. One of the biggest challenges I faced was remembering all the HTML tags and where to put them correctly. Sometimes, I would forget to close a tag or get confused about which tag to use, and that would mess up the whole layout. It was also tricky to understand why certain parts of my code didn’t work the way I expected. There were moments when I felt frustrated, but I knew that mistakes were part of learning.
